  • ¡Que Nos Escuchen! Huelguistas del Movimiento San Isidro piden aislamiento internacional del Régimen Castrista

    Miami, Florida- Noviembre 23, 2020- La Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana (ARC), expresó hoy su respaldo a los huelguistas del Movimiento San Isidro en La Habana en sus reclamos de libertad y derecho para los cubanos y en específico la excarcelación del joven músico urbano Denis Solís.
     
    La Asamblea, que reúne a principales organizaciones históricas de lucha contra el comunismo en Cuba, expresó especial respaldo y admiración al llamamiento hecho por los huelguistas a que la comunidad internacional aísle al Régimen castrista.
     
    En entrevista en horas recientes con Radio República desde la sede de la huelga de hambre en La Habana del Movimiento San Isidro, una de las voceras de la agrupación, la profesora Omara Ruiz Urquiola le hizo un llamamiento a la comunidad internacional:
     
    “Que nos escuchen! Que no sigan avalando al régimen, que no sigan virando la cara con todos los maltratos que están ocurriendo”, y añadió:
     
    “Cuando el Gobierno cubano, que ya está bastante aislado económicamente, sienta el aislamiento político que, por supuesto, trae detrás el aislamiento económico de Europa y América Latina, entonces podemos pensar en que va a haber una posibilidad de inclusión de la sociedad civil cubana para prever un futuro donde todos quepamos”.
     
    Desde Miami, el Dr. Orlando Gutiérrez Boronat, coordinador de la Asamblea, expresó el respaldo de la misma al mensaje y la acción del Movimiento San Isidro:
     
    “Hay una sociedad civil en Cuba que habla por Cuba y que pide el aislamiento económico y político de este régimen de oprobio”.
     
    Según informa la agencia ADN, 
     
    “Hace siete días una quincena de activistas, artistas y periodistas independientes, se encuentran plantados en el MSI exigiendo al régimen cubano la libertad del joven Denis Solís, condenado en un juicio sumario por un supuesto “desacato”, proceso en el que no contó con garantías legales. También piden el cierre de las discriminatorias tiendas MLC y el cese del atropello a los derechos humanos y las libertades políticas y civiles.
     
    “En ese grupo, desde hace más de 72 horas permanecen en huelga de hambre y sed Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara (artista) y Maykel Osorbo (rapero); en huelga de hambre: Esteban Rodríguez (activista), Iliana Hernández (comunicadora independiente), Oscar Casanella (científico y activista), Osmani Pardo (activista) y Katherine Bísquet (poeta, en huelga hace más de 24 h)”.

  • DIAZ CANEL: INICIAN INVESTIGACION POR CRIMENES DE LESA HUMANIDAD

    Miami, Florida – 19 de agosto del 2020- Justicia Cuba- En una audiencia internacional extraordinaria efectuada por vía cibernética, La Comisión Internacional Justicia Cuba, ha decidido iniciar una investigación por crímenes de lesa humanidad contra el Presidente del Régimen castrista, Miguel Diaz Canel, para establecer su responsabilidad directa en la política de represión contra los presos políticos cubanos en huelga de hambre dada la muerte en días recientes del preso político Yosvani Aróstegui Armenteros.

    La reunión estuvo presidida por el jurista mexicano Dr. René Bolio, y contó con el testimonio desde Cuba por parte del ex preso político y dirigente de la UNPACU José Daniel Ferrer, así como de otros ex presos políticos cubanos como Pedro Corzo y Jorge Luis García Pérez “Antúnez”, desde Miami y el ex preso político Roberto Pizano desde Tampa.  Todos los testimonios establecieron una política sistemática del Régimen castrista que ha resultado en la muerte de al menos 14 presos políticos huelguistas de hambre a través de los años.

    “Hay una responsabilidad por la conducción de una política represiva que resulta en que los presos políticos tienen que protestar iniciando huelgas de hambre, y esta misma política después les induce la muerte.  Ante la muerte de Yosvani Aróstegui Armenteros, Díaz Canel tiene que enfrentar esta responsabilidad…” dijo el Dr. Rene Bolio. La propuesta de investigar a Diaz Canel le fue enviada al Dr. Rene Bolio por Yoel Bravo, Secretario General del Frente Nacional de Resistencia Civica Orlando Zapata Tamayo, desde Cuba.

    El politólogo peruano y co-fundador de la Comisión Justicia Cuba, Jorge Villena, señaló el hecho de que la investigación de Justicia Cuba hasta la fecha demuestra que el estado castrista es una organización criminal, por tanto, los crímenes de esta estructura son también responsabilidad de Díaz Canel al él presidir, aunque sea nominalmente, el mismo.

    Kareen Herrera, Directora de Relaciones Internacionales del Partido Demócrata Cristiano de Chile, manifestó que las muertes de estos presos políticos “no constituyen fallecimientos, si no asesinatos”.

    El eminente académico colombiano Dr. Fernando Vargas, experto sobre el comunismo, expresó “que la misma ideología comunista debería ser proscrita como criminal y genocida”.

    También participaron con importantes contribuciones en la reunión, el Diputado costarricense Dragos Dolanescu, el intelectual y dirigente político dominicano Pelegrín Castillo, así como integrantes de la Comisión de Venezuela, Costa Rica, España, y Uruguay. Hubo un total de 32 participantes de diez diferentes paises.

    "La Comisión Justicia Cuba representa un pilar importante en la busqueda de la justicia para el pueblo de Cuba. Como diputado quiero que haya cero impunidad para el régimen", expresó el Diputado Dragos Dolanescu de Costa Rica.

    La Comisión Justicia Cuba ha recibido importantes respaldos internacionales en su propuesta de constituir un Tribunal mundial para juzgar los crímenes de lesa humanidad cometidos por el Régimen castrista en Cuba.

    Miami, Florida – 13 de agosto del 2020- Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana- La Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana apoya la directriz del Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos hacia el Departamento de Transporte bajo Orden # 2020-8-4, (DOCKET DOT-OST-2020-0129) de suspender todos los vuelos chárteres privados a Cuba. Estos solo favorecen económicamente al Régimen Castro-Canel a permanecer en el poder y continuar reprimiendo al pueblo cubano. Esta medida ayuda a aislar económicamente a la dictadura que cada vez incrementa su política de represión.

    “La muerte esta semana de un preso político cubano más en huelga de hambre, la represión continúa contra el pueblo y la absoluta renuencia de la tiranía a devolver todos los derechos conculcados a la ciudadanía, demuestran la necesidad de continuar y extender las sanciones.  La única vía para la libertad de Cuba, para que los cubanos puedan elegir a sus gobernantes, radica en el aislamiento político y económico de este régimen de oprobio hasta que salga del poder", dijo el Dr. Orlando Gutiérrez Boronat, Secretario Nacional del Directorio Democrático Cubano y miembro del Secretariado de la Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana.
     
    Tal es el caso del fallecimiento reciente del preso político Yosvani Arostegui Armenteros quien se encontraba en huelga de hambre como protesta por más de cuarenta días, en la prisión de Kilo 7, en la provincia de Camagüey, a quien no se le prestó la debida atención, dejándole así agravar su estado de salud, hasta el punto que fue demasiado tarde cuando le trasladan al Hospital Amalia Simoni donde fallece.

    La Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana hace responsable al Régimen Castro-Canel por el fallecimiento de Yosvani Arostegui Armenteros y recibe con agrado la orden dada hoy por el Departamento de Estado al Departamento d Transporte de los Estados Unidos, de suspender los vuelos privados de chárter a Cuba y así no contribuir a la permanencia en el poder de un régimen asesino de su pueblo.

    Miami, Florida -12 de agosto del 2020-Directorio Democrático Cubano –El músico y activista de derechos humanos DIDIER EDUARDO ALMAGRO TOLEDO "NACHO” hizo una llamada telefónica a su madre desde prisión, en la cual denunció que fue golpeado por la cabeza y maltratado verbalmente la noche de su arresto, en la Instrucción Penal de la ciudad de Placetas, por la Brigada Especial de la policía política, en presencia del Mayor de la Seguridad del Estado, Eric Frances Aquino Yera.     En dicha llamada telefónica también informó a su madre que ha sido trasladado a la prisión “La Pendiente” en la ciudad de Santa Clara, provincia Villa Clara y que desde allí la estaba llamando.

El ayuno convocado por la Academia Julio Machado y apoyado por muchas personas dentro y fuera de Cuba logró que Didier le hiciera una llamada a su madre.     Miami, Florida – 5 de agosto del 2020- Directorio Democrático Cubano- Con gritos de”, “El pueblo tiene hambre y quiere que venga la luz” y “Abajo la dictadura”,  miembros de la Academia Julio Machado y vecinos realizaron un toque de cazuelas en plena calle, en la noche del 4 de agosto del presente, en la ciudad de Placetas, Provincia Villa Clara. 


     Miembros de la Academia Julio Machado fueron arrestados durante el toque de cazuela bajo los gritos solidarios de sus vecinos, que protestaban a la policía política por el injusto arresto. Los arrestados fueron: Arianna López Roque, Gladys Paseiro, Jany Corrales del Rio, Alexei Mora Montalvo y el músico contestatario Nacho. Los miembros de la resistencia fueron maltratados y conducidos  al  tenebroso centro de operaciones y torturas de la Seguridad del Estado, conocido como la UPOC, en la ciudad de Santa Clara, siendo liberados más tarde.

    A las 6:00 de la mañana del día 5 de agosto, la Seguridad del Estado y la policía allanaron la sede de la Academia Julio Machado y  las casas de los opositores, para hacerles un registro, donde les llevaron todo lo relacionado con la oposición. En el caso de Arianna López Roque le llevaron la impresora, la computadora, el teléfono, toda la ropa amarilla y los calderos. A los demás  activistas les incautaron el teléfono, ropas amarillas y cazuelas. El Directorio Democrático Cubano se solidariza con los valientes miembros de la resistencia y sus vecinos  que se lazaron a la calle en un toque de cazuelas, para protestar los abusos del Régimen Castro-Canelista contra los cubanos, por las muchas horas de la falta  de la energía eléctrica, mientras  la elite de la dictadura goza de privilegios y no les falta de comer, el pueblo cubano sufre todo tipo de carencias, sobre todo la de alimentos.

  • PROTEST AGAINST NETFLIX PRO CASTRO PROPAGANDA GROWS MAYORS OF CITY OF DORAL AND CITY OF MIAMI ENDORSE PROTEST LETTER

    Miami, Florida –  July 31st,  2020-Assembly of the Cuban Resistance- City of Doral Mayor, Juan Carlos Bermudez, City of Miami Mayor, Francis X . Suarez and Miami Commissioner, Manolo Reyes have endorsed the protest letter to Netflix by the Assembly of the Cuban Resistance over the misrepresentation of the pro Castro propaganda film "The Wasp Network” as being factually based.

    The letter to Netflix from the Assembly of the Cuban Resistance (ARC), also signed by Nicaraguan and Venezuelan organizations, demands truth and accuracy from the company with regards to the “Wasp Network” film which is being falsely marketed as “BASED ON TRUE EVENTS”. The film also depicts the Cuban exile community as terrorists and makes an immoral attempt at justifying the February 24, 1996 Massacre by the Castro Regime of Brothers to the Rescue pilots and volunteers.

    “The Wasp Network” film, which echoes the false narrative of the Castro Regime with regards to the democracy activists that oppose it, has aroused indignation in the Cuban exile and other communities who have experienced first-hand the depravity of the Castro regime.

    The Assembly of the Cuban Resistance consists of representatives of the leading pro-democracy organizations inside and outside Cuba. 

  • ¿POR QUÉ PROMOVER UNA PROPAGANDA SINIESTRA? NETFLIX: NO PROMUEVAS PROPAGANDA CASTRISTA Y LASTIMES MÁS A LAS VÍCTIMAS VERDADERAS

    Miami, Florida – 30 de Julio del 2020 –Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana.- Una carta de protesta de la Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana (ARC) con fecha del 30 de julio del 2020, fue enviada hoy a los ejecutivos de la corporación Netflix,  reclamándoles que provean “tiempo igual” a las víctimas de la Masacre de los Hermanos al Rescate y que remuevan el letrero que aparece al principio de la película, donde dice que está “basada en hechos reales”. La carta también fue dirigida a las compañías de representación y/o agentes del reparto artístico quienes se han pronunciado a favor de los derechos humanos anteriormente.

              La carta  a Netflix de la Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana también fue firmada por organizaciones de Nicaragua y Venezuela, demanda la verdad y exactitud de la compañía en relación a la película “Wasp Network” (Red Avispa), la cual fue mostrada falsamente con “BASADA EN HECHOS REALES”. La película además presenta a la comunidad del exilio cubano como terroristas, a su vez es inmoral al intentar justificar la Masacre del 24 de febrero de los pilotos y voluntarios de Hermanos al Rescate, por parte del Régimen Castrista.

              La película “The Wasp Network” hace eco del Régimen de Castro en relación a los activistas por la democracia que se oponen al Castrismo. La misma ha causado indignación en el Exilio cubano y en otras comunidades que han sufrido de primera mano la perversidad del Régimen de los Castro.

              La Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana consiste en representantes de las organizaciones líderes pro democracia, dentro y fuera de Cuba.

    Dear Mr. Hastings:
    The murderous Castro regime has spent over six decades spinning their atrocities while depriving Cubans of their basic human rights.  The embargo and the Cuban exiles top their “go to” excuses for their failures and crimes.  Anytime they are faced with the reality of their actions sympathizers will step in repeating the regime’s mantra. “The Wasp Network” culminates this point with an insidious marketing trifecta: book, turned star-studded movie that is now internationally distributed – as “true”. It is in the peddling this as “true” that we reach out to Netflix since that is precisely the role it has placed itself in by buying the rights of distribution in the U.S. and other key international markets.  Netflix accepts the presentation of this film as “True” and builds on that by billing it as such on all Netflix marketing platforms (sample below). Now Netflix has become the latest influencer propping up a decrepit, criminal regime and turning a blind eye to all their victims.
     
    Oliver Assayas wrote the screenplay and directed “The Wasp Network” film based on a book titled “Last Soldiers of the Cold War” by Cuban Regime sympathizer Fernando Morais. Morais, a staunch supporter of the Castro regime, is a Brazilian writer utilizing the literary format to present propaganda all dressed up and marketed in a book format. It was Ricardo Alarcon, Cuban former head of the communist regimes’ assembly of popular power who thought of his “old and proven friend” Morais for a book. Back in 2005 Alarcon and Morais met at “El Floridita” in Havana[1] where Morais committed to dedicating himself to writing about “the five”. 
    “The Wasp Network” film takes the regime’s talking points and promotional objective from print to film.

    Internationally recognized actors uttering the mantras; the embargo (not the regime) blamed for Cuba’s condition, downplaying the level and reach of the WASP network’s espionage and murder conspiracy, the blanket labeling and portrayal of Cuban exiles as terrorists, attempted justification for crimes proven in a court of law and total disregard for the real victims. This is straight out of the Cuban Regime’s playbook and it is ‘now playing’ under the false and slanderous pretense of being “Based on True Events”.

    The film also has a brazen disregard for federal law, specifically, Title III & IV of the Cuban Libertad Act by utilizing property stolen by the Cuban regime during this for-profit venture. The Pollack Mansion in Havana Cuba for example, is the site location where the wedding reception scene is filmed. By conducting a for-profit business within the footprint of stolen property in Cuba, the filmmakers are in breach of federal law. Netflix has now purchased the rights to this film knowing that it features the evidence of the illegal activity taking place.
     
    The Assembly of the Cuban Resistance “ARC” the coalition of pro-democracy groups inside and outside Cuba demands the following:
     
    Netflix:
    Removal of “Based on True Events” on Netflix promotional media –Given the degree of regime rhetoric, false narrative and facts withheld, Netflix is adding its name and reputation towards the legitimization the Cuban Regime’s talking points. This movie was based on a book whose origins clearly establish its motive for being published.
    Addition of the four victims of the Brothers to the Rescue Massacre:
    Armando Alejandre Jr., Carlos Costa, Mario De La Peña and Pablo Morales. Since Netflix purchased the exhibition rights to US and other major markets for this film, the images, names, ages, and birthplace of the four victims of the murder conspiracy must be added and cannot be ignored.

    The Assembly of the Cuban Resistance to be given the opportunity to address the Netflix audience about the messaging of this film from the prospective of the Cuban exiles, Cubans within the island and victim families.
    This is where we begin the process of righting a wrong, setting the record straight.

    Actors:
    In viewing interviews, many of you have personally endorsed the information portrayed in this film as factually correct. As influencers of public opinion, backing up the position of the Cuban regime, supporting convicted criminals, and blatantly ignoring the massacre of four young lives on a humanitarian mission is shameful. We are submitting this letter to your  representatives in the hope to set up a virtual meeting at your earliest convenience with members of ARC and family members of the victims. Many of you have expressed in the past a desire to support human rights. We hope that you will honor that desire.

    Netflix:
    Following a trial in the United States that lasted six months, each Cuban agent was convicted on espionage charges, with one (Hernandez) convicted of conspiracy to commit murder. Among other things, the WASP Network reported information to Cuba about the operation of military facilities, political and law enforcement activities and activities of organizations based in the United States who support change in the regime of Cuba.

    Convicted on 13 counts:
    One count of conspiracy to gather and transmit national-defense information
    Eight counts for acting as a foreign agent of a foreign government without notifying the Attorney General-One count for conspiracy to do so
    Two counts for fraud and misuse of documents
    One count of possession with intent to use five or more fraudulent identification documents
    and One count of conspiracy to commit murder
    Hernandez was sentenced to concurrent terns of life imprisonment on the counts of conspiracy to commit murder and to gather and transmit national-defense information. On the other counts, Hernandez was sentenced to shorter terms of imprisonment, which run concurrently with one another and with his life sentences.

    He was sentenced to five years imprisonment on the conspiracy count and a consecutive term of ten years on the substantive count.

    Antonio Guerrero
    Convicted on 3 counts:
    One for acting as a foreign agent of a foreign government without notifying the Attorney General-One count for conspiracy to do so
    One count of conspiracy to gather and transmit national-defense information
    Guerrero was sentenced to life imprisonment for conspiracy to gather and transmit national-defense information, for each of the other counts, Guerrero was sentenced to shorter terms of imprisonment, which run concurrently with Guerrero’s life sentence.

    Medina and Campa supervised attempts by other agents to penetrate the Miami facility of the Southern Command. Under the supervision of Medina, Campa, and Hernandez, Guerrero obtained employment at the Key West Naval.

    Juan Pablo Roque
    Escaped Justice, fled to Cuba
    Infiltrated humanitarian group “Brothers to the Rescue” Castro's air force, using intelligence gathered in part by Roque, shot down two small unarmed planes off Havana, killing three United States Citizens and one Resident.
    Ana Margarita Martinez, a Cuban exile whom Roque married in the United States as part of his deception won a judgment against the Cuban regime. A federal judge in Florida found Cuba liable for Roque's actions, saying he was "especially offended that Cuba – a country that disregards human rights – has callously trampled the rights of one of our own citizens on our own soil in furtherance of a vile criminal conspiracy."

    On December 17, 2014 President Obama made a live announcement from the White House. It was live at that moment that the family of the Brother’s to the Rescue Massacre victims found out that the Cuban spies that had conspired in the murder of their loved ones had been released from federal prison and were already back in Cuba where they were met with a hero’s welcome. Justice was ripped from them with the swipe of a presidential pen.

    There has been U.S. indictment on the records for the Air Force Commander and Pilots and one long overdue for Raul Castro.

  • WHY AID SINISTER PROPAGANDA? NETFLIX: DON’T SPREAD CASTRO PROPAGANDA AND FURTHER VICTIMIZE THE REGIME’S VICTIMS

    Miami, Florida – July 30, 2020-Assembly of the Cuban Resistance-A letter of protest from the Assembly of the Cuban Resistance (ARC), dated July 30, 2020, was issued today to the corporate heads of the Netflix company calling on them to provide equal time to the victims of the Brothers to the Rescue Massacre and to eliminate the caption at the beginning of the film stating that it is based on “true events.” The letter was also addressed to the management companies/agents of the cast most of whom had in the past been vocal about human rights.

            The letter to Netflix from the Assembly of the Cuban Resistance (ARC), also signed by Nicaraguan and Venezuelan organizations, demands truth and accuracy from the company with regards to the “Wasp Network” film which is being falsely marketed as “BASED ON TRUE EVENTS”. The film also depicts the Cuban exile community as terrorists and makes an immoral attempt at justifying the February 24, 1996 Massacre by the Castro Regime of Brothers to the Rescue pilots and volunteers.

           “The Wasp Network” film, which echoes the claims of the Castro Regime with regards to the democracy activists which oppose it, has aroused indignation in the Cuban exile and other communities who have experienced first-hand the depravity of the Castro regime.

           The Assembly of the Cuban Resistance consists of representatives of the leading pro-democracy organizations inside and outside Cuba.

    Dear Mr. Hastings:

    The murderous Castro regime has spent over six decades spinning their atrocities while depriving Cubans of their basic human rights.  The embargo and the Cuban exiles top their “go to” excuses for their failures and crimes.  Anytime they are faced with the reality of their actions sympathizers will step in repeating the regime’s mantra. “The Wasp Network” culminates this point with an insidious marketing trifecta: book, turned star-studded movie that is now internationally distributed – as “true”. It is in the peddling this as “true” that we reach out to Netflix since that is precisely the role it has placed itself in by buying the rights of distribution in the U.S. and other key international markets.  Netflix accepts the presentation of this film as “True” and builds on that by billing it as such on all Netflix marketing platforms (sample below). Now Netflix has become the latest influencer propping up a decrepit, criminal regime and turning a blind eye to all their victims.
     
    Oliver Assayas wrote the screenplay and directed “The Wasp Network” film based on a book titled “Last Soldiers of the Cold War” by Cuban Regime sympathizer Fernando Morais. Morais, a staunch supporter of the Castro regime, is a Brazilian writer utilizing the literary format to present propaganda all dressed up and marketed in a book format. It was Ricardo Alarcon, Cuban former head of the communist regimes’ assembly of popular power who thought of his “old and proven friend” Morais for a book. Back in 2005 Alarcon and Morais met at “El Floridita” in Havana    [1] where Morais committed to dedicating himself to writing about “the five”. 

    “The Wasp Network” film takes the regime’s talking points and promotional objective from print to film. Internationally recognized actors uttering the mantras; the embargo (not the regime) blamed for Cuba’s condition, downplaying the level and reach of the WASP network’s espionage and murder conspiracy, the blanket labeling and portrayal of Cuban exiles as terrorists, attempted justification for crimes proven in a court of law and total disregard for the real victims. This is straight out of the Cuban Regime’s playbook and it is ‘now playing’ under the false and slanderous pretense of being “Based on True Events”.

    The film also has a brazen disregard for federal law, specifically, Title III & IV of the Cuban Libertad Act by utilizing property stolen by the Cuban regime during this for-profit venture. The Pollack Mansion in Havana Cuba for example, is the site location where the wedding reception scene is filmed. By conducting a for-profit business within the footprint of stolen property in Cuba, the filmmakers are in breach of federal law. Netflix has now purchased the rights to this film knowing that it features the evidence of the illegal activity taking place.
     
    The Assembly of the Cuban Resistance “ARC” the coalition of pro-democracy groups inside and outside Cuba demands the following:

    Removal of “Based on True Events” on Netflix promotional media –Given the degree of regime rhetoric, false narrative and facts withheld, Netflix is adding its name and reputation towards the legitimization the Cuban Regime’s talking points. This movie was based on a book whose origins clearly establish its motive for being published.

    Addition of the four victims of the Brothers to the Rescue Massacre:
    Armando Alejandre Jr., Carlos Costa, Mario De La Peña and Pablo Morales. Since Netflix purchased the exhibition rights to US and other major markets for this film, the images, names, ages, and birthplace of the four victims of the murder conspiracy must be added and cannot be ignored.

    In viewing interviews, many of you have personally endorsed the information portrayed in this film as factually correct. As influencers of public opinion, backing up the position of the Cuban regime, supporting convicted criminals, and blatantly ignoring the massacre of four young lives on a humanitarian mission is shameful. We are submitting this letter to your representatives in the hope to set up a virtual meeting at your earliest convenience with members of ARC and family members of the victims. Many of you have expressed in the past a desire to support human rights. We hope that you will honor that desire.

    Following a trial in the United States that lasted six months, each Cuban agent was convicted on espionage charges, with one (Hernandez) convicted of conspiracy to commit murder. Among other things, the WASP Network reported information to Cuba about the operation of military facilities, political and law enforcement activities and activities of organizations based in the United States who support change in the regime of Cuba.

    Miami, Florida 28 de julio del 2020- Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana- La Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana agradece al gobierno de la República de Colombia y a su Ministerio de Salud, el no aceptar la propuesta de traer una brigada de 600 médicos cubanos para atender la pandemia del Covid19 en la ciudad de Medellín.

    La propuesta del alcalde de Medellín de traer médicos cubanos, ha generado protestas en todo el país, ya que en Colombia existen muy buenos profesionales en el campo médico, muy bien preparados para combatir el Covid19 y cualquier tipo de enfermedad. Además, los colombianos saben que existen participantes en estas brigadas médicas que son enviados por el Régimen castrista con el propósito de subvertir la democracia, la libertad y la paz de Colombia, como lo hicieron en Venezuela y pretenden hacer en otros países.

    Es sabido que el Régimen comunista de Cuba explota a los médicos cubanos que participan en estas brigadas internacionales, a través de salarios impropios, ya que no les paga lo que les corresponde y es el Régimen quien se queda con las ganancias correspondientes a los médicos y empleados de la salud. Así también los médicos cubanos en estas misiones tienen que trabajar bajo situaciones de represión, a veces peligrosas y por muchas horas, por lo que el Régimen les viola todos sus derechos laborales, tratándoles como mano de obra esclava.

    La Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana siempre ha denunciado la explotación de los médicos cubanos a través de estos programas internacionalistas, por lo que entiende que cualquier gobierno que haga este tipo de trato con el régimen comunista de Cuba, es también cómplice de esta situación y por tanto violador de sus derechos humanos.

  • CUBANOS RECLAMAN LIBERTAD PARA LAS PRESAS POLITICAS EN TODA LA ISLA BAJO EL LEMA “MARIANAS DE ESTOS TIEMPOS” EN LA CAMPAÑA “PA LA CALLE”

    Miami, Florida – 23 de julio del 2020- Asamblea de la Resistencia Cubana.  A lo largo y ancho de Cuba, opositores al régimen comunista, realizaron el día 22 de julio del presente, actividades cívicas de protesta  bajo el lema “Marianas de estos tiempos”, de  la campaña “Pa la Calle,” en reclamo de  libertad para las presas políticas cubanas.
     
    Desde una marcha pública portando un letrero alegórico a la campaña “Pa la Calle”, donde los activistas gritaron “Libertad’, hasta un ramo de flores amarillas que aparecieron colocadas a la entrada del Tribunal de la ciudad de Placetas, en Villa Clara, así como denuncias de activistas en varios videos públicos desde diferentes puntos de Cuba, hasta emotivos recordatorios a la memoria de los mártires Oswaldo Paya Sardiñas y Harold Cepero, en el aniversario de sus asesinatos, fueron varias de las muchas actividades de protestas realizadas durante el evento “Marianas de estos tiempos”.
     
    Los participantes en la protesta “Marianas de estos tiempos”  vistieron el color amarillo de la resistencia y reclamaron  la libertad de las presas políticas cubanas que son madres, hijas, hermanas, esposas que sufren los  horrores de las prisiones castristas sin jamás doblegarse, ni rendirse nunca.
